Sam DarwishChief Executive Officer
Sam founded Skinny IT in 2010 as a way to provide the “skinnier” option to customers who want the ability to break up the way they buy, engineer, deliver and service IT solutions. He has worked to build Skinny IT as the one-stop shop IT service provider that is a true partner to its customers, not just a vendor.
Before venturing out on his own with Skinny IT, Sam spent over a decade in senior leadership positions at technology companies like CompuCom, OnForce and Locus Telecommunications. He is also a serial entrepreneur and currently uses his expertise in business and technology to assist other businesses besides Skinny IT. For example, he opened the Frisco franchise of Jump!Zone, a family entertainment center, and Burgers, Buns, & Beverages Inc., which operates the Carl’s Jr quick service restaurants in the Metroplex. He also sits on the franchisee board for Blo Blow Dry Bar and the Board of Directors for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
When not working on any of his several business ventures, you’ll find Sam spending time with his wife Lola and their three children. Sam received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in Marketing & Business Administration from Montclair State University.
Martin BrownSenior Vice President, Legal & General Counsel
As General Counsel for Skinny IT, Martin provides legal services and advice to the company and the Board of Directors on matters regarding M&A, employment, corporate compliance, intellectual property, litigation, corporate governance and public policy. He oversees the company’s legal and human resources departments, ensuring that these departments provide the necessary legal and HR framework to support Skinny IT’s mission and objectives.
With sixteen years’ experience as both a transactional attorney and a litigator, Martin brings exceptional tenacity, organizational skills, and expertise to Skinny IT. Before joining Skinny IT, his legal practice focused on venture capital and private equity transactions as well as business formation matters, including, advising clients on contract matters, corporate and securities law matters, private offerings, SEC/NASD compliance, commercial real estate transactions. He also represented clients in highly complex commercial litigation involving securities, employment law, and banking matters.
Martin received his Bachelor’s of Arts in Political Science and Masters in American History from the University of Tulsa, and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Tulsa College of Law. Martin also attended the Universidad de Palermo in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he studied International Corporate Law and Project Finance. He is licensed in Texas and Oklahoma. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas and the Northern, Western, and Eastern Districts of Oklahoma, as well as the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado and the Fifth and Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeals.
A U.S. Navy Veteran, Martin received the National Defense Service Medal while active duty. His publications and presentations include:

John DiMuzzioSenior Vice President, Technical Operations
John is the senior vice president of technical operations and joins Skinny IT with more than 25 years of experience in the IT industry. In this role, he is responsible for the design and operations of integration facilities use to implement a wide range of services from project management, procurement, staging and deployment, advanced configuration, and installation services.
He has assisted companies like CompuCom and Allerion Corporate in defining innovative business strategies and driving operational excellence. John received his Bachelor’s degree in Geo Environmental Studies from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania.
John O’DonnellVice President, Business Operations and Intelligence Analytics
As vice president of business operations, intelligence, and analytics, John uses his nearly 20 years of industry experience directing the integration and expansion of Skinny IT systems, programs and applications that support all facets of the organization, including cloud and on-premise installations, ERP functions, service ticketing and dispatch, and CRM. He is also responsible for the onshore and offshore engineering and development teams.
Prior to Skinny IT, John was at CompuCom and was responsible for Sales Operations where the adoption and growth of the Salesforce CRM platform enabled tremendous sales efficiencies through unified processes and tools. This also enabled him to create detailed business analytics and reporting for the entire organization. He also managed the Supply Chain Management department where he was responsible for $2B in annual spend.
A graduate of the United States Naval Academy, his naval assignments included United States Strategic Command, department head tours aboard Aegis equipped cruiser USS Monterey and strike destroyer USS Hayler, and a division head tour aboard USS Kidd. He has also earned a Master of Science in Systems Technology, Space Systems Operations from The United States Naval Postgraduate School and an MBA in Finance, IT and Strategy from Carnegie Mellon University.
Michael CocksSenior Vice President, Service Delivery
Michael was named SVP of Service Delivery in January, 2018. In this position, he oversees all North America field operations and professional services that include, project management, and on-site service and support. Michael is focused on accelerating growth and providing high caliber installation and services for a wide variety of clients. Prior to this role, Michael served as COO for Installation and Service Technologies where he oversaw customer relationships, sales, helped drive corporate initiatives and day-to-day operations.
Michael has over 25 years of experience supporting sales and service operations in several business verticals during his tenure at Eastman Kodak and Fuji Film. He has worked with some of the industry’s largest big-box retailers and drug chains in supporting third-party retail and service initiatives.
Michael attended Fort Hays State University majoring in business and leadership. Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife Lisa and their two adult children.
Chad AtchleyVice President, Engineering and Solution Development
Chad has more than 20 years of IT experience, where he has focused his career on systems engineering, solution development and helping customers find the right fit for technology in their business. At Skinny IT, he uses his breadth of knowledge to assist customers in developing solutions that not only meet their design specifications but are also easy to manage and operate over time.
Chad received his Bachelors of Business Administration with a focus on Management Information Systems from the University of Oklahoma. Following college, Chad earned multiple technical certifications from manufacturers including Hewlett Packard, Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, and many more.
Outside of work, Chad enjoys coaching his oldest daughter’s soccer team, cheering on his youngest daughter’s latest dance performance or spending time with his wife, Jana.
Rocco MusumecheSenior Vice President, Sales
Rocco is responsible for leading the sales team at Skinny IT and brings over 30 years of successful customer experience that lead to exponential growth by building a high performance sales and delivery team. At the end of the day he believes that if you take care of the customer everything else will take care of itself.
Prior to joining Skinny IT, Rocco worked for CompuCom Systems, Inc. for over 30 years, starting in sales in Dallas where he was recognized as a top producer. After that he worked in the product business as a Business Development Manager. He was promoted to branch manager and grew the business to over 100M in product and 18M in services and his team won branch of the year. Rocco was transferred to the San Francisco bay area to integrate an acquisition and run the western region, where he was consistently first or second year over year in revenue growth and gross margin growth. He was then promoted to run the net new logo organization in 2008 and his team consistently produced over 100M in net new logo first year value of business.
Rocco attended University of Houston majoring in chemical and industrial engineering. While not working, Rocco enjoys spending time outdoors; on the lake and gardening and spending time with his wife and three grandchildren.
Joette KroppVice President of Marketing
As vice president of marketing, Joette coordinates Skinny IT’s integrated marketing strategy and its tactical deployment through branding, content, public relations, community outreach, and partnership curation.
Joette graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Christian University. Over the past 15 years, she’s grown both national and regional brands — including The American Heart Association, Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants, and Dallas Lite & Barricade – through careful attention to shifting market conditions and a forward-thinking approach to omnichannel brand narratives and emerging marketing technologies.
Ala Al-KhouriVice President, Strategic Sourcing and Nearshore Operations
Ala has 20 years of experience in the technology field specializing in vendor management, strategic sourcing, sales support, and operations.
As Vice President of Strategic Sourcing and Nearshore Operations, Ala is responsible for implementing sourcing strategies and purchasing processes that enable Skinny IT to accelerate profitable growth while driving efficiency and reducing cost. He is responsible for the customer experience by driving operations performance results through the nearshore/offshore operations teams thus providing a cost effective and scalable support model for Skinny IT’s clients.
Ala’s dedication has earned him repeated recognition by vendors for his ability to execute and deliver great value to customers, contributing to record-breaking growth. He has been the recipient of many awards for his leadership, public speaking, and customer support.
Ala earned a degree in Electronic Engineering from the Radio College of Canada and holds technical certifications from Cisco, VMware, EMC, HP, and more.
